Nothing quite compares to the feeling I get driving down that narrow gravel lane I grew up on as a little girl. It’s an instant feeling of peace, familiarity, and gratitude. There was a time I didn’t always feel that way. But after leaving for a long season, and then coming back as a broken individual, a whole new perspective of “home” was formed. These roots mended me back together. I don’t know if it was the new endeavor of raising chickens, gardening, or conquering sourdough. But I would say it was a little bit of all of that, along with experiencing the joy of my children running around barefoot in the yard I once ran wild in. Here my passions were rekindled, my hope was restored, and new beginnings began to evolve.

first, OUr daily bread co. was formed where I began selling sourdough at our local farmers market. That has since evolved into teaching sourdough workshops along with markets here and there.

Fast forward a few years, and Heirloom Lane was formed where all of these passions of mine were merged into a lifestyle blog + shop.

Whether it be a sourdough starter, a vintage sweater from your grandma's closet, or a herbal remedy, each of these things tell precious and real stories. They can be passed down for generations to come.

A treasured heirloom.

And just like my childhood home and gravel lane hold so many beautiful memories and are a safe space for me to heal, I hope you find a safe space here in my little corner of the internet for healing and growth.

Let's journey down heirloom lane.

welcome.

I am hilary. a homeschooling momma who is learning so many new things right alongside of my kiddos. In my free time, you can find me in my kitchen (likely baking bread or cookies), snapping pictures, or sifting through a thrift store for hidden treasures. All while sipping a raw milk latte of course. I love music, dancing, being in nature, and farm animals. I intentionally try to slow life down, as it's constantly racing before our eyes. It is my hope to share with you all of these wonderful things that bring me great joy in life. I look forward to connecting with you.
